Oral History Project Collaborative Exhibit

 
The opening reception for Warren: A Point of View - Artistic impressions of Warren by IFA & stories of the Silent Generation by WPS was held on Friday, November 15th from 6 - 8 p.m. at Imago Gallery on Market Street.

The reception was a tremendous success with a great response from the community.  The featured guests were our Oral History interview subjects and their families and friends. We are so grateful to them for sharing their stories with us. WPS would also like to thank Buzz Barry, who was unable to attend the reception. The Oral History Project Committee would also like to honor the memories of interview subjects Alexander Mikulski and Jennie Proto. 

The exhibit will be featured at Imago Gallery until December 22nd, 2013.  Exhibit hours are Thursday - Saturday, noon to 8 p.m. and Sunday, noon to 4 p.m.

The Oral History Project Committee Members - Nathan Arndt, Jill Culora, Doug Hinman, Helen Hawkins and Kristin MacDonald - would like to thank everyone who helped make this exhibit a reality, including: IFA members and participating artists, Irene Plamondon, Mary Ellen Munro, Massasoit Historical Association, George Hail Library, Mary Healey-Jamiel, Sharon Lombardo, Scott Lial, Jack Flynn, Ned Hinman, FrameItRI and WPS President Eileen Collins.

This exhibit is dedicated to the memories of Walter Nebiker and Lombard Pozzi.
